Registered Nursing Diploma (RN Dip) EN-RN Abridged Conversion and HIV practitioner training program

REGISTERED NURSING ENTRY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

1. Five (5) ‘O’ levels at credit level or better in English, Mathematics and any Science subject (Biology, Science, Combined Science, Agriculture Science, Human Biology) plus any other two subjects - – Local language, Religious Education, History, Commerce, Geography etc.

2. Minimum Age: 16 years.

ZAMBIA ENROLLED NURSING TO REGISTERED NURSING ABRIDGED CONVERSION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

1. ZEN Certificate

2. Valid NMCZ practicing certificate

3. No age limit

HIV NURSE PRACTITIONER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

1. Five (5) ‘O’ levels

2. Diploma in Nursing

3. Valid Practicing Certificate

METHODS OF APPLICATION

1. All applicants who meet the above minimum entry requirements can buy an application form which is available at the School at a non-refundable fee of K120. 00 (Ensure a receipt is given upon payment). Please note that application forms are only sold to eligible applicants.

2. If you download the Application Form from Mukinge College of Nursing website, you can deposit the non-refundable fee Mukinge College of Nursing Bank Account. The applicant name must appear on the deposit slip which must be presented to the college when collecting the application form.  No cash payment is allowed.

 

PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO SEND YOUR RESULTS FOR VERIFICATION TO THE SCHOOL BEFORE PAYING FOR THE APPLICATION FORM.

The applicant should fill-in the application form and return it to the office of The Principal Tutor as soon as possible.

1. Attach a certified copied of School certificate or Statement of results and a copy of National Registration Card (NRC) before submitting the application form to the School.

2. The applicant will later be invited for interviews through a personal letter, national, local print or electronic media.
